Soft wash, because pressure washing a tiled roof is destructive
A high-pressure lance will strip moss off a concrete tile and take the protective surface coating with it. The roof looks dramatically better for a season and then deteriorates faster than it would have if you had left it alone, because the exposed substrate holds water. Soft washing uses a treatment that kills the growth at the root and lets it weather off, which is slower to look perfect and considerably better for the tile.
